We are now Firewise!

This morning Firefighter Matt talked to us about what to do if there was a fire in our house. We practised getting down, getting low and getting out to our family's safe meeting place outside.

What is Matt showing us on the video? Tell Mum and Dad.

Matt Evans, the FireWise co-ordinator, has offered to our families  a fire safety check of homes and give advice about the placement of smoke alarms. Please leave your name, address and phone number at the office if you would like to take up this offer from Matt.

Make sure your family talks about exits and safe meeting places and smoke alarms. The book and DVD every child brought home today helps you to get it right.

Auckland Zoo - What an awesome place!

Lots of sunshine, walking, exploring, excited children, learning, noise, laughter and silly stuff. We had such a fantastic time today! Many, many thanks to all the parents (and teachers) who came with us. Aren't we lucky to have such a wonderful zoo!

Bachelors Walk in the Bush

Today we went on our walk through the Chatswood Bush. We are lucky to have such a wonderful native bush so close to our school. We found lots of interesting things. We took photos to show what we found. Click the link below to see our photos.
