Kiwi Cookie Day

We sold all our kiwi cookies. We sold just over 400 cookies. We made $301 and 50 cents.

Here is the recipe for the cookies. Maybe you could make them over the weekend.

Kiw Cookies (makes about 30)

125g butter
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 egg
2 cups flour
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp mixed spice

1. Beat the butter and sugar.
2. Add the egg and beat again.
3. Add the flour, baking powder, cinnamon and mixed spice and mix well with a spoon.
4. Roll the dough on a floured board.
5. Cut out shapes.
6. Put on a tray and bake 180 C for 12 - 15 minutes.
7. Cool then ice and decorate with sprinkles etc.

Kiwi cookies

Yesterday we made kiwi cookies and today we are selling the kiwi cookies.We made the cookies in the staff room.We made the kiwi cookies to save the kiwis.We put icing on the cookies and we put marshmallows on the cookies to.

Cricket

This is space 10 playing cricket. It was really fun because we had to throw a ball at the wickets. Some people had to bat the ball and then someone had to catch the ball. 

Cave paintings

We are drawing animals from the past. We found pictures of cave paintings and we copied them. We pretended we were in a cave and drew our pictures under tables.

Mixed up animals

Sp10  has been doing some mixed up animals for writing and we painted our crazy animals. 

Animal masks

Sp 10 is making animal masks. We are making a plan first. We looked at photos to help us.

Maths games

This is a new maths game. It is called adding snap. It is fun.
